Maury County Firefighters responded to a rollover accident over the weekend.

Maury County Fire Department released the following photo and information:

"At approximately 3:01pm on Saturday, MCFD units were dispatched for a vehicle rollover.

Upon arrival, Incident Command reported a single rolled vehicle with heavy damage and one occupant possibly trapped. The call was was quickly updated to a confirmed entrapment.

An EMS supervisor on scene had already began administering medical care from inside the vehicle and Command Assigned arriving units (MCFD Engines 8 and 2) to extrication.

The patient was quickly extricated from the vehicle while EMS continued to provide medical care and a landing zone was setup for Life Flight by MCFD.

Vanderbilt LifeFlight arrived on scene and transported the patient for further care and evaluation. We are praying for a full recovery for this individual and want to thank all agencies involved."
