The Lawrenceburg police department was dispatched to South Military Avenue with reports of domestic assault after neighbors witnessed the altercation.

 

Lawrenceburg police officers arrived at a residence on South Military Avenue after receiving reports of a domestic assault in progress where the male subject at the home denied there being any physical altercation claiming it was just an argument between him and a female subject.

Officers reported that the female subject appeared to be highly intoxicated, and was accusing the male subject of cheating on her.

After two separate neighbors reported to police that they witnessed the male subject striking the female in the face multiple times officers arrested the man on charges of domestic assault where he was transported to the Lawrence County jail.
