To the people of Lawrence County,

Over the past weeks, I've been deeply moved by the outpouring of support and the heartfelt conversations I've had with so many of you.

At one point, I thought my days of running for office were behind me. But after receiving numerous calls and spending a lot of time in prayer and conversation with my family, I want you all to know that I've heard your voices.

Today, I’m officially announcing that I will be entering my name into the candidacy for Lawrence County Sheriff in the upcoming election. I come to you not just as a candidate, but as someone who considers Lawrence County my home in the truest sense.

I’ve served this community in law enforcement for decades, and I’ve always aimed to make our county safer, stronger, and united. This isn’t about politics for me—it's about serving every corner of Lawrence County, from Summertown to St. Joe, from East to West, as a true working sheriff.

While I hold conservative values and will advocate for them, my promise is to be a sheriff for all of our citizens. Together, we can ensure that our sheriff’s department is proactive, responsive, and truly dedicated to the well-being of every resident. I look forward to earning your trust and support as we move forward.
