Thieves Target Bicycles During Weekend
Several individuals reported that bicycles had been stolen from outside their homes during the weekend.
On Saturday officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department took a complaint regarding the theft of a brown and white Mongoose bicycle valued at $150. The victim said that the bike had been parked behind his home.
Two residents of Bluff Drive reported similar crimes on Sunday. Both said that their son’s bicycles had been stolen from in front of their apartment the previous night. One was a Road Master 24 with a value of $70. The other was a gray Mongoose with a value of $159.
The matter currently remains under investigation.
