Final Approval Gained For Lawrenceburg's Annual Budget, Tax Rate
Members of the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council gave final approval Thursday morning to the city's proposed budget and tax rate for the 2014-15 fiscal year.
As approved, the property tax rate remained unchanged from the previous year at $1.4234 per $100 of assessed property. No amendments were made prior to the final vote.
The following are total projected revenues and expenditures (including fund balances) for each account approved.
General Fund: revenues - $15,391,780, expenditures - $12,655,199
Sanitation Fund: revenues - $1,429,721, expenditures - $1,113,566
State Street Aid Fund: revenues - $544,022, expenditures - $500,000
Drug Fund: revenues - $113,723, expenditures - $58,750
Mimosa Cemetery Fund: revenues - $66,121, expenditures - $16,000
Disaster fund: revenues - $88,978, expenditures - $75,750
