Monday Crime Report
Theft
Deputies made their way to a Turnpike residence Tuesday where the resident reported that a fourteen foot black, mesh, trailer had been stolen. The victim said that he had assumed his son had allowed a friend to use it but after checking discovered that it was not the case. The trailer has a value of approximately $1,000.
Recovered property
A resident of Fairview Road in Loretto reported to deputies Monday that she had found an Apple iPhone lying in the roadway in front of her home. The phone, valued at C$100, had a pass code so deputies were unable to determine the owner.
Vandalism
On Wednesday an employee at Auto Mart on Pulaski Highway reported arriving to find that a rear window had been busted on a 2004 Chevrolet truck. She estimated damages to be $500.
Burglary
Deputies were sent to a Waterloo Road home Wednesday where the resident reported he had been away for a few days. He returned to find that a bedroom window had been pushed open and a screen door was standing open. Missing were three firearms and a small safe that contained $600 cash and some Dale Earnhardt pictures. Total loss was estimated to be $3,200.
Theft
A small red utility trailer valued at $500 was reported stolen from a home on Virginia Drive Wednesday. The victim told officers it was stolen from her driveway.
Theft
Officers responded to a theft call from a Granddaddy Road residence Wednesday. The victim said that $325 in cash had been stolen from the room she rents.
