Tuesday at 5:42PM Maury County Fire Department was alerted to a possible electrical fire

on Cantebury Drive in Culleoka. While enroute additional callers reported a working fire.

 

"Responding units: Engines 21, 26, 30, 32, Tankers 21, 22, 23, 26, 28, 32, Squad 32, District 22, MED 20, OPS 20, Deputy 20.

Upon arrival heavy fire was showing from a bedroom and a portion of the attic. Members commenced with an offensive attack with two hand lines.

Members quickly made it into the attic space and controlled the fire that had extended across the attic.

The family is displaced and is being assisted by the American Red Cross.

One civilian was transported with smoke inhalation and one FF was treated on scene for minor injuries.
