Deputies, Detectives, and K-9’S have been working hard to make our community safer and continue to remove drugs from our streets.

Pictured are just some of the drugs and weapons that have been confiscated since the middle of June.

"The Sheriff’s Office received a tip about possible narcotics being distributed in the 5-points area of Bon Aqua. The investigation developed probable cause to execute a search on a home. Approximately 10 pounds of Psilocybin mushrooms and 7 pounds of marijuana were recovered.

Numerous tips were called in about narcotics in the East Ward ST. area of Centerville. Probable cause was established to obtain a search warrant for the residence. The owner was found to be in possession of felony methamphetamine.

While following up on another investigation detectives developed probable cause to obtain a search warrant for a home on Mathis Hollow RD. in the brushy community. A marijuana grow operation was discovered along with the owner being charged with felon in possession of firearms.

The Sheriff’s Office received a tip about narcotics in the area of Little Lot Rd (HWY 230) and Highway 100. A search revealed several marijuana plants.

Personnel deployed in the area of Hwy 50 and Leatherwood Rd. Probable cause was obtained to search a home located off Hwy 50. Subsequently 6 people were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl with the intent to distribute. Numerous firearms were also recovered.


Multiple traffic stops have been conducted which have resulted in the seizure of numerous drugs and weapons.
