The Giles County Sheriff's Department released statement regarding misconduct arrest of a corrections officer involving sexual contact with an inmate.

 

According to the Giles County Sheriff's Department they received a complaint involving misconduct by a corrections officer with an inmate that resulted in a investigation.

Correctional officer, Brady Ransom, was charged with four counts of Official Misconduct, and four counts of Sexual Contact with an Inmate which led to the immediate termination of Ransom's employment.

Ransom was booked into the Giles County Jail where at this time no further details have been released into the ongoing investigation.
