The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a naked suspect with a loaded weapon.

 

 

Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched over the weekend to a residence on East College Street in Summertown with reports of a armed naked suspect.

Upon arrival deputies identified the suspect as 51 year old Thomas Owens, who was discovered by a homeowner in their downstairs bedroom, and chased from the property by the owner.

Deputies located Owens in a nearby driveway where he was found to be in possession of two shotguns where one of the firearms was discovered to be loaded along with a baggy containing 5 grams of a leafy substance, a broken glass pipe with white residue, and pills.

Owens was arrested on multiple charges including aggravated assault where he was transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
