Resident Reports Pool Ruined By Vandals
Local law enforcement officers initiated an investigation Tuesday after a resident of Lawrenceburg’s Austin Circle reported someone had vandalized her swimming pool.
The resident reported to Lawrenceburg Police Officers that in prior days someone had apparently used a razor blade to cut several slits into her pool liner, causing it to leak.
She told deputies that the liner had been installed only a few months before. Altogether, she estimated her losses to total $4,000.
Although no suspects were named at the time reports were filed, detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division are continuing their investigation into the matter.
