Five Points Man Critically Injured In Bonnertown Crash
A Five Points man sustained critical injuries after becoming involved in a single vehicle crash Monday evening.
Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol were dispatched to the crash, which occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Bonnertown Road.
Trooper Jonathan Pulley indicates that driver Michael Willis, 30, apparently ran off the left side of the roadway while driving a 1995 Chevrolet Lumina, impacting head-on with a tree.
Willis was airlifted from the scene to Huntsville Hospital where he underwent surgery Monday night. Relatives reported he had been stabilized Tuesday morning and was being prepared for a second surgery.
