Agents with the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 13181 Hwy 64 in Lexington.

The Florence/Lauderdale Special Operations team made entry and secured the residence.

The search warrant was obtained due to the drug dealing activities of one of the occupants of the residence.

A search of the residence revealed approximately 31 grams of Methamphetamine (ICE), 7 grams of Cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Arrested and charged:

Teddy Joe Wray 64, Lexington

Trafficking in Methamphetamine (ICE)
Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance

Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Agencies assisting the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force during this investigation were the Florence Police Department, Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office and the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office.

Additional charges are anticipated and additional suspects are expected to be charged.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
