Monday Crime Report
Theft
A resident of Brush Creek Road reported to deputies Sunday that a STIHL brand weed eater and chainsaw had been stolen from the front porch. She speculated that the crime had occurred between August 23 and 25. The items have an estimated value of $400.
Vandalism
Deputies answered a call to Paige Road in Ethridge early Sunday morning when the resident discovered damages to her house trailer. She reported that someone had thrown rocks at her home and struck it with a wooden board. She said that she had heard noises on two separate occasions during the night. She estimated damages to total $500.
Burglary
Deputies were called to a Genson Road home Friday morning where the resident reported a home burglary. A side door had been pried open. Missing were television sets, a chainsaw, ball hitches, compressor, circular saw, numerous hand tools, and a Suzuki dirt bike. The resident’s yard sustained damage, as did his toolbox. Losses total several thousand dollars.
