Amish man injured in Friday crash dies from injuries

An Amish man who was seriously injured in a crash that occurred on U.S. Highway 43 South on Friday, has died from his injuries.
  
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the crash site in the vicinity of 2397 Highway 43 South, at around 5:44 p.m. after a vehicle crashed into the Amish buggy.
 
Four persons were said to be injured in the crash. Three were transported to Southern Tennessee Regional Medical Center. One person, identified as Jonas Mast, age 28, sustained more critical injuries and was airlifted for medical care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Authorities indicate that he passed away from his injuries just before 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.
 
Members of the Lawrenceburg Police Department are continuing to investigate the crash.
