LCEMS SELECTS NEW D-SHIFT SUPERVISOR, PARAMEDIC MICHAEL WRIGHT

As Lawrence County EMS prepares to transition to the 24/72 schedule, we are proud to announce that Michael Wright has been selected to serve as the D-Shift Supervisor.
Michael, along with several qualified applicants, participated in a formal application and interview process for the position.
His selection reflects not only his experience and qualifications, but also the leadership he has already demonstrated within LCEMS. Michael is no stranger to leadership. He has served as the C-Shift Field Training Officer, a position that trains students and new employees, but also assumes the responsibilities of shift supervisor when the supervisor is unavailable.
Michael is currently in his 11th year serving in EMS and is a licensed Paramedic. He has been a member of the Lawrence County EMS team since June 2018. Throughout his career, he has earned multiple EMS certifications, including advanced medical, pediatric, and trauma certifications. He has also successfully attended the Tennessee EMS Leadership Course, presented by the Tennessee State Office of EMS and the Tennessee EMS Education Association.
In addition, Michael also serves Lawrence County during some of its most difficult moments as a Death Investigator with the Lawrence County Medical Examiner’s Office, and has completed the St Louis University’s Medicolegal Death Investigator Training Course..
Please join us in congratulating Michael on his selection as D-Shift Supervisor! We are excited to have Michael step into this new role and look forward to working alongside him as we continue moving LCEMS forward.
