Theft Of Farm Equipment Under Investigation
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the theft of several farm implements from a Leoma property.
On Wednesday a resident reported that several pieces of farm equipment, two saddles, a 20 foot log chain, battery charger, electric generator and some scrap steel had been stolen from his 930 Prosser Road property.
He told deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department that the items stolen had a combined value of around $3,550.
Investigation into the crime is on-going through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
