Saturday Night Crash Claims Lawrenceburg Man
A Lawrenceburg man perished Saturday night in a single vehicle accident that occurred along Gimlet Road.
Reports filed through the Tennessee Highway Patrol show that Billy Joe Barton, age 70, died as a result injuries he sustained in the 8:30 p.m. crash.
Barton was reportedly driving a 1994 Ford Ranger near his residence when he failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, struck a mailbox, then crashed into a tree.
The crash is being investigated by Trooper Bryan Rose.
