Maury County Firefighters battled a camper fire.

On Monday, 8/10 at 5:40PM, units responded to a reported camper on fire near a home with unknown occupants on Rick Hight Rd. Responding units: Engines 21, 23, Tankers 21, 23, 32, Safety 20, and Deputy 20.

Units arrived to find fire showing from one window and forced entry into the camper. The fire was quickly controlled and no occupants were found.

This was the 12th call of the day for members who had already handled several other serious incidents throughout the day.
