Crime Report
Vandalism
A resident of South Main Street, St. Joseph reported to Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies Wednesday that someone had shot out the windows of his outbuilding. He stopped by the department to file the complaint, indicating that the crime had occurred on August 1. Estimated loss is $400.
Theft
Deputies are investigating the theft of a youngster’s four wheeler from an Ethridge home. The complainant told deputies that the 2005, 90cc, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., special edition Polaris was stolen from her shed overnight Tuesday. Loss is estimated to be $1,725.
Theft
Deputies were dispatched to investigate a theft from a Sanders Lane home in Leoma Wednesday. The resident reported his ex-girlfriend had moved out, taking his flat screen television with her. Investigation is on-going in the matter.
Burglary/theft
An Old Jackson Highway, Leoma resident reported Wednesday that money had been stolen from inside his vehicle. The victim said that the vehicle had been towed when he was arrested. Once he was released, he said he went to pick up his vehicle and found that $138 in cash was missing from the ashtray.
