Ethridge Police Chief Recovering From Heart Surgery

   Ethridge Police Chief E.O. “Bozo” Shelton is recovering after suffering an episode with his heart this week.

   Shelton was transported by helicopter to St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville Monday, where he has since remained a patient in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. A stint was inserted into his heart by surgeons after doctors discovered he had blockages to an artery.

   Shelton was scheduled to undergo additional procedures on Tuesday.
