Theft Reported At Local Swimming Hole
A Lawrenceburg man reported to authorities that he had become a victim of theft while at a local swimming hole on Monday.
The victim, a twenty-nine year old resident of Fourth Street, reported that he had taken his kids to swim at a location on Oaks Road in Ethridge around 2:00 p.m.
He said that while they swam someone entered his 2006 Toyota Camry, stealing his car stereo, a Nintendo 3DS game system, medications, and other items. He estimated losses to total $514.60.
The matter has been assigned for further investigation by detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
