Relay For Life Planned For Saturday

   Lawrence County’s annual Relay For Life will get underway this Saturday at Lawrence County High School.

   A nation-wide event will raise funds for the American Cancer Society, in the fight to find a cure for the dread disease.

   This year’s twelve-hour event will get underway at 6:00 p.m. at the LCHS football field. Homemade ice cream will be available, along with hamburgers, hotdogs, and other concessions.

   The most memorable portion of the event, the light of the luminaries, is scheduled for 9:00 p.m.
