RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE

Just after 2 pm, the Lawrenceburg Fire Department responded to a call for a residential structure fire.

Crews arrived to find a confirmed fire, with heavy smoke conditions, from a single family home They initiated an aggressive interior attack and primary search.

The fire was quickly extinguished and damage was primarily contained to a single bedroom. Luckily, the occupants were not at home and no injuries occurred. Crews remained on the scene for ventilation and overhaul to verify no further extension of the fire.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Automatic aid was provided by Lawrence County Fire & Rescue Tennessee.
