Investigation Initiated In Burglary of Restaurant

   Lawrenceburg Police Officials were summoned to initiate an investigation Monday after officials at Ponderosa Restaurant discovered the business had been targeted by burglars.

   Reports filed through the department show that employees arrived at the business around 10:15 Monday morning to find that burglars had damaged the ceiling and entered the restaurant.

   Reports indicate that $1,300 in cash had been secured in the safe at closing Sunday evening. Burglars, officers report, opened the safe, taking the contents before fleeing the premises.

   Loss and damages were estimated to total $3,500.
