Burglar Leaves Crowbar On Coffee Table

   Law enforcement officials are working to identify a burglar who broke into a Lawrence County home overnight Sunday, leaving the crowbar he used to enter the home on the coffee table.

   A resident of Norton Road summoned Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies to the home, reporting that he had arrived home to discover a door had been pried open, and a crowbar was lying on the coffee table.

   Although it appeared nothing was missing, deputies report the break-in resulted in some $200 in damages.

   The case remains under investigation at the current time through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division. Anyone who has information regarding the incident is urged to contact them at 931-762-3626.
