Police Make Arrest In Recent Burglary Spree
Officials with the Lawrenceburg Police Department reported Wednesday that an arrest has been made in a recent burglary spree that targeted the First and Second Street area.
Christopher Kelsey Egly, age 23, of Lawrenceburg was arrested on Tuesday on charges of burglary and theft. Egly was identified as a suspect when department detectives were investigating a number of burglaries to vehicles and one camper, that had occurred on July 11.
Egly was arrested in connection with one of the burglaries. He was transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center where he was incarcerated under a bond of $11,000.
Officials report that additional charges will be sought when evidence in all of the cases is presented to the Lawrence County Grand Jury.
