Hickman County Sheriff Office stated that their was a police presence over the weekend.

The Sheriffs office received information regarding drug activity in the vicinity of Back Piney Road, off of Missionary Ridge. Deputies initiated an investigation into the drug activity and successfully obtained sufficient probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the residence.

The items seized from the home include firearms, a stolen firearm, cash, and drugs. Additional evidence of fentanyl distribution was also recovered. One individual was apprehended and charged with possession with the intent to distribute narcotics.

The investigation continues, and additional charges are anticipated. We will continue these efforts to apprehend the individuals that are bringing drugs to our community. We express our gratitude to everyone who has assisted us in combating this ongoing problem; without the community’s support, we would not be able to accomplish our mission.
