Lawrenceburg Lawrence County Airport Receives Aeronautic Grant
The Tennessee Department of Transportation announced today that federal and state aeronautics grants totaling $22,415,775 have been approved for 12 Tennessee airports. Lawrenceburg Lawrence County Airport is one of those 12.
For our part the Lawrenceburg‐Lawrence County Airport will receive from the state $1,402,670, local $155,852 for a total grant sum of $1,558,552 for construction of runway overlay.
The grants are made available through the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Aeronautics Division. The division administers federal and state funding to assist in the location, design, construction and maintenance of Tennessee's diverse public aviation system.
