Columbia Mail Thieves Dump Evidence In Lawrence
Thieves who stole mail from several individuals in Maury County apparently chose to dump the evidence along West Point Road.
Residents of 1048 West Point Road spoke with Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies Monday evening. They reported they had found thirteen pieces of mail lying in the roadway in front of their home. Reports show the mail was addressed to homes on both Bear Creek and Rip Steele Roads.
Deputies checked the roadway and report recovering an additional fifteen pieces of mail from the roadside, between that residence and Halfway Market.
Deputies have contacted Maury County authorities to investigate further.
