Proprietor Returns To Find Wiring Stripped From Business
The proprietor of a Leoma area business returned to his shop after the weekend to find that someone had stripped the wiring from the building.
Larry Campbell summoned Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies to HP Body Shop, 2535 Highway 43 South, just after 9:00 a.m. He reported he had arrived to find the door to the business open. The Master Lock had been cut from the walk-through door, allowing the culprits access to the interior of the business.
Inside, deputies report all the copper wiring had been stripped from the business. In addition, four Rally wheels and tires were stolen off a truck parked in front of the business. Loss was estimated at $3,015.00.
