Break-In At Amish Shop

An Amish man reported a break-in at his horse shoeing shop costing thousands in damage and loss. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reports indicate that sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, burglars broke a window for entry into the victim’s shop on Campbellsville Road in Ethridge. A lock was cut off a desk and cash was taken. Other missing items included saddles and medications for horses. Loss is estimated at more than $3,500.
