Recently, the Lawrence County, TN Sheriff's Office underwent a two-day training course provided by Task Force 70.
Task Force 70 is a Nonprofit Foundation focused on the goal of providing law enforcement officers serving smaller communities with critical capabilities in tactical emergency situations. Of the approximately 724,000 sworn law enforcement officers serving in the United States, about 70% of these officers serve communities of under 10,000 residents in departments of under 10 sworn officers.
They often lack the resources to educate, train, and prepare these officers beyond their basic academy training for tactical emergencies that do not occur frequently but can have devastating consequences when they do.
We would like to thank Task Force 70 for providing this amazing training to the Sheriff's Office. If you would like to help Task Force 70 offer this training to other agencies, please visit tf70.org/donate to make a donation of $20 per month.
