Resident Says Someone Freed Restrained Dog
A Loretto resident sought law enforcement assistance Monday when someone came onto her property to free her restrained dog.
The victim reported to sheriff’s deputies that the culprit cut her dog’s run line, allowing him to run off. The woman had reported the dog missing prior to this incident and had regained possession. She told deputies that the dog is very aggressive and does not like small spaces, therefore she had confined it using the run line.
The victim indicated that the responsible party was traveling in a black Nissan or Toyota truck with wide wheels and damage to the right rear truck bed.
Investigation into the matter is on-going. Anyone with information should contact the sheriff’s department at 762-3626.
