Pump Stolen From Summertown Creek
A Summertown man filed a complaint with law enforcement officers on Wednesday after he found that someone had stolen a water pump from his creek.
The victim told deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department that he had recently purchased the Honda GX water pump to pump water from his creek.
He said that he had last seen the pump next to the creek at around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. He was working in a field around 10:30 Wednesday morning and noticed that it was missing.
The victim said that the pump had a value of $600.
