Summertown Man Sustains Gunshot Wound
Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to investigate Friday after being notified that a Summertown man had somehow sustained a gunshot wound.
Department reports show that deputies were dispatched to North Brace Road at around 5:20 p.m. The report shows that the victim, age 27, had sustained a gunshot wound to his left hand.
Deputies report that they asked the victim repeatedly who had shot him as well as where he had sustained the wound, but that “he could not tell them.”
At the time reports were filed department detectives were continuing to investigate the matter.
