Items Reported Stolen From Leoma Grave
When a Leoma woman visited the grave of her son Monday, she was distressed to find that items had been stolen from his grave.
The victim, 51, told deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department that she went to the gravesite in Center Point Methodist Cemetery around 5:30 p.m. She found that three solar lights and a wind chime she had previously placed on the grave were missing. The items were valued at $65.
The victim indicated that she had last seen the items on the grave on June 21, 2011.
