On July 1,2026 at approximately 6:00 PM Lawrence County E911 began receiving reports of storm damage across our County.

Lawrence County Fire Rescue units began responding to several calls for service including reports of a tree that had fallen on an occupied home,

a report of a propane tank that had been compromised by a fallen tree, several reports of trees that had fallen on electrical lines, and numerous reports of trees down blocking the roadway.

We are thankful for the Lawrence County Highway Department and Lawrenceburg Utility Systems.

As always the Lawrence County Highway Department responded immediately to the impacted areas with personnel and heavy equipment to clear the roadways to allow access for emergency vehicles, and normal traffic.
