Lawrenceburg Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Johnson Street where a male subject was threatening to kill residents.

 

The Lawrenceburg Police Department was dispatched in reference to threats being made in the area of Johnson Street where upon arrival officers spoke with residents who stated that a white male who was carrying a black bag was walking along the road threatening "to kill everyone."

Police immediately located the subject nearby that mached the description given by residents, and as officers approached the male subject he appeared to be intoxicated.

The subject exhibited slurred speech along with being unsteady on his feet, and officers could smell the presence of alcohol on the man.  It was clear to police that this man was a danger to others/ himself where he was placed under arrest for public intoxication.

The male subject was transported to the Lawrence County Jail without further incident.
