Thrown Juice Bottle Strikes Child
Deputies took a complaint during the weekend from a couple who indicated that a bottle of juice that had been thrown at them by an ATV rider struck a child, instead.
The victims reported that they had been watching their children ride four wheelers in the vicinity of Wisdom Road Saturday. They said that a couple stopped to speak with them and gave them bottles of juice for the children.
The couple left for a time. When they drove back through, the victims report that the man threw a full bottle of juice at them. The bottle struck a ten year old boy on the ankle, then bounced up and struck his leg.
The matter currently remains under investigation through the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department.
