Man arrested after making threats to commit a mass shooting at a Tennessee Walmart on Monday.

According to the Hendersonville Tennessee Police Department, officers were alerted to reports of anonymous threats of a mass shooting at the Walmart located in the 200 block of N. Anderson Lane.

Hendersonville police reportedly worked alongside the Tennessee Office of Homeland Security to investigate the incident, which led them to identify 37-year old Patrick Michael Ehringer as the person responsible for making the threats.

After Law enforcement spoke with Ehringer they determined that the threats were related to a failed relationship and were intended to harass an employee at the store.

Ehringer was arrested on charges of a false report where he is currently being held in Sumner County Jail on a $200,000 bond, and is expected to appear in court on July 9th
