Lawrenceburg Man Indicted On Statutory Rape Charge
A Lawrenceburg man was booked through the local jail Friday after being indicted on sex-related charges involving a juvenile.
Lawrenceburg Police Chief Judy Moore issued a press release Friday afternoon, indicating that Charles Parker Inman, 40, had been arrested. A Lawrence County Grand Jury returned indictments against Inman for one count of aggravated statutory rape and one count of soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor.
Moore reports that the arrest was a result of an eight week investigation undertaken by detectives with her department, along with those with the Office of the District Attorney General and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Inman was incarcerated at the Lawrence County Detention Center under a bond of $10,000. He has been scheduled an initial appearance in Lawrence County General Sessions Court for August 1, 2011.
