Ethridge Commission Selects New Mayor
Members of the Ethridge Board of Commissioners selected a new mayor during the city’s monthly business meeting Monday.
Davaid Workman, who was re-elected in the city’s May election, was selected to serve as Mayor. Commissioner Mark Brewer will serve as Vice-Mayor. Commissioner John Barnes is the remaining member of the three-person panel.
Ethridge statutes dictate that during the first meeting following the election, commissioners select one commissioner to serve as mayor, and another to serve as vice-mayor.
