Five Points Man Killed In Early Sunday Crash
A crash in southeastern Lawrence County claimed the life of a Five Points resident Sunday morning.
According to reports filed by Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Jonathan Pulley, Dave D. Kaushik, 26, of 1089 Rabbit Trail Road, was traveling along Joe Williams Road in a Ford F-150 truck when the crash occurred.
Kaushik’s truck reportedly left the roadway in a curve around 11:45 a.m., running through a ditch. It came to rest after striking a fence, then a tree.
Kaushik died as the result of injuries he sustained in the crash.
