RICH SENTENCED TO LIFE + 30 YEARS

Yesterday, Circuit Judge David Allen sentenced John Rich to a total sentence of Life, with the Possibility of Parole, plus 30 Years, to be served consecutively.

Rich was found guilty earlier by a Wayne County jury for the murder and rape of Brentlyn Hunt. The jurors heard and saw proof that Rich administered a lethal dose of Methamphetamine to Hunt, then raped her as she was dying from the overdose.

Assistant District Attorneys Patrick Butler and Jessie Parrish presented the state's proof. The case was investigated by District Attorney Investigator Jeff Dunn and the Collinwood Police Department Investigator Dale Palmer.
