Subject: Simultaneous Incidents

Shortly before 6:00 PM this evening Lawrence County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire in the Leoma Fire District. A mutual aid engine company from Loretto Fire Department was requested to respond with the Leoma unit due to the location of the incident being in close proximity to the Loretto City Limits. Responding personnel were able to quickly extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

Approximately 2 minutes after the vehicle fire was dispatched, Lawrence County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash with reported injuries that was also in the Leoma Fire District. A rescue unit from Center Point as well as a unit from Leoma responded to the scene. A third unit from the Crossroads station also pulled up to provide coverage for any other incidents while the other units were tied up.
