Lawrenceburg Police Department report second arrest has been made in the 2021 murder case of Sharon Gillespie

After an extensive investigation, Agents have charged Victoria A. Cash (40) of Columbia, TN in connection with the April 2021 murder of Sharon Gillespie.

On May 31st, the Lawrence County Grand Jury issued indictments charging Victoria Cash with First Degree Murder, Criminal Homicide, Attempted Especially Aggravated Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy to sell Schedule II Narcotics.

The shooting occurred on the evening of April 13, 2021, outside Ms. Gillespie’s place of employment, The Summit of Lawrenceburg.

Cash was arrested without incident and is being held at the Lawrence County Jail on a $3,000,000 bond, awaiting arraignment in Lawrence County Circuit Court. The case was investigated by LPD Detectives and Special Agents of the Office of Homeland Security.

Brandon M Waire (44) of Columbia, TN was arrested in 2022 and is currently awaiting trial.
