Theft
Authorities are looking into the theft of several jewelry items from vehicle of a Beeler Road resident. The victim, age 72, told deputies that the necklace and rings were missing from his 1992 GMC Sonoma truck. The items had a combined value of $1,600. The victim said the truck was unlocked at the time of the burglary.
Burglary/theft
A local woman reported to deputies Tuesday that her storage unit had been burglarized. She said she arrived to find her padlock was missing. Inside she said clothing, shoes, dishes, and a box of adult sex toys was missing. None of the other units appeared to have been tampered with. Loss was said to be approximately $2,000.
