Qualifying Papers Available For Upcoming Lawrenceburg And Saint Joseph Elections
Anyone considering a run for the governing commissions of either Lawrenceburg or Saint Joseph may now pick up qualifying paperwork.
The Lawrence County Election Commission has announced that potential candidates may stop by their offices on Centennial Boulevard in Lawrenceburg during business hours to obtain all required paperwork.
Three seats will appear on the ballot for the City of Lawrenceburg election, including two council seats and that of mayor. Saint Joseph voters will be asked to select two members to serve on that city’s commission.
All qualifying documents must be returned to the election commission offices by the deadline of noon on August 21, 2014.
