A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper allegedly crashed into a lawnmower in Maury County on Thursday, injuring one man.

Trooper Samuel Holcomb, 46, was traveling on Theta Pike in a 2017 Ford Explorer while a Zero Turn Lawnmower was mowing a private yard on the same street around 1:00 p.m when The lawnmower reportedly entered the Ford’s lane of travel.

A 36-year-old man was injured due to the crash, and at this time his status is unknown.

Holcomb was uninjured in the crash and was wearing his seatbelt.
